Sampling is realised twice during the summer season as we planed.

The first field trip was realised for a period of three days,  as during autumn, winter and the spring season. Samples were taken from all 12 springs. Oxygen concentration, oxygen saturation, temperature, pH, conductivity and estimate of representation of each substrate type were measuered. Samples of makroinvertebrates and the water samples were collected for analyses of BPK5 and determining the concentration of ammonium ions, phosphates, nitrates and nitrites. The samples were than transported to the laboratory for analysis. The concentration of ammonium ions, phosphates, nitrates and nitrites is in expected range.

The total number of recorded individuals during the first fild trip during the spring season was 393, belonging to 17 families. The best-represented families were Chironomidae with 161 individuals, Gammaridae with 66 individuals and Limnaephilidae with 45 recorded individuals. The final report will include a detailed report on recorded species and results of chemical analyses.During summer monthes we organised camp in Vlasina plataou with students and volunteers.

We have problem with a lot of rain days in the Vlasina plataou. The total number of recorded individuals during the second fild trip during the summer season was 452, belonging to 15 families.
